Well-rounded affair
As one of the largest foundations in Europe, the RAG-Stiftung focuses on the topic of sustainability. We have designed a special tool for the website that brings together everything to do with the topic.
The RAG-Stiftung does not publish a separate sustainability report, but attaches great importance to transparent communication. The digital SDG tool was the perfect solution. It is structured around the seven Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) relevant to the foundation. Texts, videos or photo galleries await behind the clickable levels.
Everything was programmed with the open source application React, so we were able to customize the tool and connect it to the customer's CMS. Special requests were also possible: for example, if there is a lighthouse project for a certain SDG field, a button appears that makes more details visible.
All content is optimized for smartphones and the wheel adapts its shape accordingly. Overall, the project is a prime example of the combination of high information density and clever web design.
