PUMA Sustainability Site

Forever.Better.

What does the sustainability site of a company need to be like? Sustainable, of course! That's why 3st developed a microsite with eco-mode for PUMA - it makes sense and glows in the dark.

It's only logical: anyone who is committed to sustainability has to deal with the topic of sustainable design. Just like the sports company PUMA, for whom 3st has already refreshed the corporate website and moved to a CO2-neutral data centre.

The highlight of the site is the Eco-Mode developed by 3st. Its centrepiece: the image rendering pipeline. New images are automatically generated for eco mode when they are uploaded. This means that they are rasterised and provided with a colour system that creates a very striking look on a black background and at the same time reduces the image size and computing intensity. The new modules developed by 3st are also small and high-performing, which reduces loading times and ideally even lowers the site's energy requirements.

While the design of the default mode is based entirely on the look and feel of the corporate website, the eco mode takes a new approach here too. It builds on the dark mode, is spacious, purist and fits the brand perfectly with its dynamic colours.

PUMA is taking an innovative step here. Sustainable design and brand experience come together perfectly and support the charisma of the fastest sports brand in the world.
